ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System is an evolution of OHSAS18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System.

    This new standard is used to help organizations around the world ensure the health and safety of their workers.

    ISO 45001 was drafted and written by the ISO/PC 283 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Project Committee.  

    Representatives from organizations such as the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) also participated in the discussion of the standards.
